Downtown historic killeen is very underrated. Full of hidden gems (businesses). I've been here since '86 and this restaurant took me by surprise. You wouldn't think this was behind the front door! The atmosphere grabbed me upon entry, and the warm staff (Thad & Beth) gently welcomed us. From the lighting, to the sound, to the 1890's slate stone walls, the aesthetic was rich. Vibe was cozy and calm. The character and real history were really neat. Farm 2 Fork, this is TRUE food. UNPROCESSED. I had no idea just how processed ketchup was until I tried the ketchup here! I said "THIS is how ketchup is SUPPOSED to taste?!" Wow. The food was hearty, well seasoned and built. Fantastic!! Supporting the sales of local farmers, from honey to flour to spices they are truly Texas. Restrooms were clean. Kitchen was clean. Outside walk way/store front was clean. The whole place made us comfortable and was very inviting. Very friendly folk. THIS, is how cowboys used to eat..... Farm2Fork. (AVACADO TOAST WAS UNBELIEVABLE!!!) -will be back- TikTok- GenXrJoe74

One word: GO! 🤩 Go eat at this phenomenal spot in downtown Killeen! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and so enjoyable. If you're looking for a great place to start your day, Let's Eat Texas is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back!

What a GEM in Killeen! The staff is very welcoming as soon as you walk in and the place has the country feel. You do seat yourself where ever you like to sit but will quickly be given a menu and asked what you would like to drink. I started with a hot machiatto. Presentation was great and the flavor was outstanding. I did not add anything to it just how they make it. There was not the bitter or burned flavor from the coffee like many places. Such a treat! For breakfast I tried the chicken fried steak with home fries and two eggs over medium. The chicken was not your normal thin, chewy piece of meat. This was a perfectly fried, moist piece of chicken. So juicy and full of flavor. The gravy is good but I prefer it to be a little spicier, it did have a great consistency. Not runny or to thick. The eggs were cooked perfectly and I loved the home fries with their own spicy ketchup. On a side note; they make their own condiments in house. What a treat! Currently they are only open during the week for breakfast and lunch since they do many catering events on the weekend. Occasionally they will open 1 Saturday for a brunch so keep your ear to the floor to know when you can take advanta

This place feels like home. Upscale dining yet affordable. It's almost like taking a step back in time to when people took pride in everything that they do. The food tasted amazing, the presentation of the food was very asthetically pleasing, the wait staff was kind, professional and offered service with a smile. You could just see the sense of pride this establishment takes in every aspect of the dining experience. You can watch the food prep and the Chefs and staff are very detail oriented and look like they really enjoy what they do.

The Ambiance Definitely Gave Texas 🤠 Very Southern And Homey Feeling. The Food Was Amazing And Tasted So Fresh! They Had Homemade Ketchup, Homemade BBQ Sauce, And I Loved That They Support Small Texas Businesses By Sampling Their Products Inside The Restaurant, Like Local Honey And Other Goodies. 10/10 I Highly Recommend! My Husband And I Went On A Tuesday, So We Were In And Out With No Wait. We’ll Definitely Be Back Soon. Thank You, Let’s Eat Texas, For The Great Experience!
